The movie will hit theaters on February 5, 2010 and tells the story of John (Channing Tatum), a young soldier home on leave and Savannah Curtis (Amanda Seyfried), the idealistic college student he meets during her spring vacation. ‘Dear John‘ is based on a Nicholas Sparks book by the same name, helmed by Lasse Hallström, written by Jamie Linden, and wrapped filming in the Charleston, South Carolina area in December 2008. i DIDN’T KNOW CHANNING UNTIL i SAW DEAR JOHN. I BOUGHT THE MOVIE AND WATCH IT 4=5 TIMES A WEEK.. VERY IMPRESSIVE. GREAT STORY.
